In the past couple weeks I've seen a lot of unusual things.  We will be leaving our home soon and that too makes me think of every good moment I've had here with my family. 

Life can be rewarding in many ways, sometimes it's greatest rewards come in not so obvious ways.  This weekend my boys made me very proud.  They represented the Hindsley family well and I'll never get tired of people telling me how much they look like me, or how much they look like each other.   For some of us, words like that mean little beyond the moment.  I don't think that way.

I'll catch myself watching my children play with others and feel a great sense of pride when they play well.   While all children make mistakes and need to make mistakes to learn from, I can't help but appreciate that they give dignity to our name.

We Hindsley's can be an odd lot, but my boys have learned, "We are Hindsley's not heathens."  

When I've tucked them at night, when I've read them a bed time story, I stand in doorway and tell them, "I love you both the most" I shut to door to end of another great day.  The days we are together are the greatest days of my life.   While any parent can use a breather, I can't help but feel complete with we three are together.   My family is fragmented from divorce, but we have indeed made lemonade out of lemons.  

I'd love to post photos and say more about our life, but I can't.   Take my word that in our home, there is a lot of love and a lot of people from which to be loved.   If you have children, remember they grow fast.  These are the best years ...   more »
