I don't root for but one Philly team. The Phillies. And days like this, I think hard on it.
But I never give up on them. Even when I despise the management and the year after year problem of NO PITCHING.
Today they lost the home opener after having won it. The head lines... GONE IN A FLASH. Tom "Flash" Gordon the guy supposed to save the game.... lost the game giving up not one, not two not three but five runs in the ninth.
Whatever. I'll wear my red hat and pray for hitting again.
And to everyone that says Philly is going to be great this year. I don't see it. I'll root them on, but as a level headed fan that loves the team, I see a different ball club than last year. Key players lost is a major factor along with no pitching. Then there is the lightning in bottle factor that you don't get twice. I hope I'm wrong because I'm a fan either way.
