There are many forms of it. Hypocrisy. It comes down to people contradicting what they claim to be, what they claim to feel, or what they claim to believe through absent or diametrical actions. A person becomes a hypocrite to you the moment you see those differences.
We regular people don't make an effort to prove virtuous people unvirtuous, however the media often looks to find and report people that espouses a truth in their life and exhibit the exact opposite behavior.
To me hypocrites are like teenagers. You learn right from wrong and show a good gameface to your parents while secretly going out and doing everything opposite because you want to experience it.
The reality is we are all human and prone to wanting things to be our way, yet we ignore or compromise our values and beliefs all the time. I say ignore, because only when you get caught do you begin to rationalize your hypocrisy. For those that project this way… I won’t even bother to discuss the matter. Those targets are too easy. Instead I’d like to focus in on identifying it when you see it. The reality is, no matter what I say here… I think we all know hypocrisy when we see it. But let’s enjoy a little exploration…
