View Article  SuperBowl 42 Recap

Blogging on the go here is my game end reaction....What a game!   I was so torn!   I can't remember laughing and having as much fun watching a SuperBowl in years!

Before the game I wanted the Giants to win but felt it was just NOT going to happen.   So with friends munching on my now famous pretzel dogs, (all you need is the dough and you can bake them anywhere) we enjoyed the best SuperBowl in years!

I got to blab about how crazy stupid I am about wanting to See Jumper when that commercial aired and of course when Ironman showed up... that was big talk.  The one my son has made me promise to take him and his little brother to is Wall-E.   We saw previews for this last month and this one is utterly amazing in the visual comedy value.  That should be a blockbuster in its own right.

Halftime…. Thank GOD for a halftime show that wasn’t ridiculous.  Great band, Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers playing can’t miss songs, four and out.  The NFL got it this year.

Oh... and the game!  Can you believe that pass from Eli in the last minutes of the fourth quarter!   Just as my son says... "He's not as good as his brother..."   He makes a stunning play.  He's sacked, then he's not!  He's throwing a duck, but its caught in an acrobatic jump ball play in no-man's land!  In double coverage David Tyree comes down with the ball. (video: http://www.nfl.com/videos?videoId=09000d5d8067d05e)   That wasn't the only game saving play but it sure was the most exciting.

Very few SuperBowls come down to the final minutes.  This was a great finish.

I was truly sad that Tom Brady and the Pat's didn't have a perfect season. No ...   more »

View Article  How to make Sangria - A great party drink
Years ago I ate in Mexican restaruant in Atlanta that served Sangria. The drink was delicious with the Tex Mex style food they served. I later called them up and asked for the recipe. For years since I've served Sangria at festive parties in our home. From SuperBowl parties to birthday parties for the adults. I always get one or two friend asking for the recipe. This is a drink I make maybe once or twice a year. Here it is...    more »
View Article  Best Romantic Movies for Valentine's Day

I would have posted this article yesterday but I had a power outage. I've assembled my current favorite romantic movies.  It's not a top ten.  But the first few are ones I certainly like the most.  Sort the rest in no particular order.

Casablanca – The absolute classic love story.  What is perfect about it is that ...   more »

WHY MOSTLY PHOTOS OF LARS?
The answer is simple. It's to protect my friends privacy. I'm not a narcessist. LOL

Lars offers perspective from an Anglo-Christian moral position while never lording over anyone unlike himself. Lars is of the opinion that if you are going to complain, you should offer a solution. His perspective on the world is that many of us fight societal evolution to frustrating ends without a genuine understanding of what it is we are all up against.

Reading his articles should provide you with positive energy towards living out your day. You may not be able to change the world but you can navigate it to live a rich and rewarding life. Enjoy Lars’ works, there are years of writings to choose from.
