Thank God I don't live in a vacuum.  Sometimes I write things and despite being a great communicator, I overlook the obvious.

Here I am telling all that I love women with articles anti-women.  LOL  Sorry.  Let me explain.

I have been in a research mode lately.  So based on all I've found I wanted to discuss those subjects.   My aim was to find positive resource sites for men.  Again, I was in an abusive relationship, I was a victim.  I have recovered.  I have forgiven etc... 

What I learned from my experience is a have an obligation now to help other men get beyond the past and move on.    Yes sometimes from just reading a few articles here it can even appear I have not moved on fully.  I hate that sentiment.  It really isn't me.  Ask the people close to me and they'll vouch for me on this.  But you can't, so you'll just have to trust me.   I've tried to make it clear already... I do have a foot in the past in terms of a custody battle, so I will from time to time deal with antics, gaming and divisive behavior that can spill over here in some form. 

What I don't do is rope my kids into it.  You never see me here write.. my son came home today and said this and now I have to do that...   What happens in relation to my children and my custody case is not featured here.  For me to offer insight to other men about what happens within the scope of my own battle is adult conversation that has no bearing on my case. I'm a single parent.  Life for a single parent can be good or bad, it is what you make it.  I stay positive here despite any misgivings I have towards certain people in my past.  Because I am a single parent and always look to improve my abilities, perspective and understanding, I research this field.

Last night I found a blog by a guy that is titled: WHAT MEN THINK OF WOMEN and wow...   It really put my own blog and topics (when visting the subject of women) into a new perspective.  Let me clarify, while I've complained about a personal experience and being a victim, he has decided flat out women are wrong.   I contrast in a positive light to this guy even if he is full of facts and documentation.

It's sad that we can't just learn from a bad apple and move on.  Take for example my own situation.  Remember, despite what happened to me, I still think marriage is a wonderful thing, women are great and that a good woman makes any man a better man and I think that works both ways.  For those of you that wonder... "OK if you don't have an ax to grind with your own ex, why no photos?"  Well, its been demanded I take them down or I'd be sued.  For what I don't know.  But I took them down.  Mind you, no photos of us in bed or anything degrading.  I've been bulled into taking down photos I had up for years from a baby shower I threw for her, to us on the beach smiling and photos with our child.  Believe me folks... the sadness doesn't end there. But you JUST MOVE ON.   Which is what I think this guy needs to do.

This is more of a forecast than a prediction.   Bottom line is the Giants will lose.  My only hope it that they break out early and score some points, make it interesting for a while so I can enjoy the commercials.

Now don't get me wrong.  I am a big Manning family fan.  I loved Archie and was thrilled he has two sons making it big.  I really love Peyton's ethic and ability.  I actually would like to see his younger brother make his own mark too.  I think he gets an unfair shake in media now. 

I like a number of other players on the Giants roster too.  They have players I like where as the Jets do nothing for me. 

I don't like either coach as they are simply too intense and abusive towards players.  I like New York teams in general because of the city but don't get carried away with rooting them on because I do have my own favorite teams. 

That leaves me with the Patriots... I'll be happy for them if they make history, they seem to have a truly great team.   I'd like to see them earn it here.   I just don't think the Giants will show up to play.  I mean, they may have heart, but they are just out-gunned.

Let's step into the cold world of dating without love... marriage without love.   Let's call it a business deal. 

Ah... my misleading headlines...  I don't mean can a woman buy beauty... I mean can a man buy a woman, or more directly.. buy a beautiful woman?  The real underlying question is why would he?  Take for instance the tale of a trading position.  Think of it.  Men are like stock traders on wall street.  They are an earning asset.   From a superficial point of view in the world of single people... men grow in value.  They increase their income, and their looks don't generally fade.  And looks in a man are not what makes them attractive.  It's their money.  Women find men attractive based on how much they are worth... monetarily.   If man is a earning asset then a woman is a depreciating asset.  Her beauty is her commodity.

Think of it.  A woman is beautiful today.  She nails down a great guy and what happens?  For few years she is beautiful.  She's young, upbeat, keeping herself fit etc...  But in a few short years... time takes it's toll.   In traders terms this woman is a depreciating asset while the man is an earning asset.  She could be petulant and selfish, the deal is still brokered on beauty.   Marriage under these circumstances with a woman is not an efficient market, while dating is.   Men have learned that in order to avoid being pumped (married) and dumped (divorced and looted) they've delineated that marriage is too risky and investment to embark on when they would be obviously ...   more »
