This is rich.... Today I read an article from a Washington insider news publication where Senator Grassley (Republican) of Iowa stated he sees the U.S. capturing Osama Bin Laden by the upcoming November election.  Whatever.  But what bothered me was he went off about how he gets no worthwhile intelligence information from his "secret CIA briefings".  Wah waa waa....  He says he gets the same info in the news.  Here is the big thing that rips me,  he says: “I think it’s legitimate for me to question all of our intelligence information because that I never learned anything from those briefings that I hadn’t learned in the newspapers. If they don’t know anything more than they’re telling us, what’s the use of having an intelligence agency, and why bother to brief us?”

Here is my answer as a sane and rational American.  Dear Mr. Grassley, I don't think the CIA is all that Hollywood makes them out to be either BUT!!! I wouldn't tell you jack either pal.  Every day I watch the news and some clown on capitol hill has run his mouth about information he has no business repeating.

This is just one more reason why people in general resent politicians.  You can't be trusted with a lunch menu.  Why for second would you think the CIA would tell you any more than they had to.  I would leave you in the dark too.  Heck, I wouldn't even invite you in the room.  So yeah... you got one thing right, don't bother with the meetings but don't think it is because the CIA is clueless.  The reason is they have no balls anymore because soccer mom's and politicians cut them off and they can't do a damn thing to protect us.  And now what is worse is they can't talk to us either because Senators run their mouths too much.

Have a nice day.
