What do you say to a coward? To understand where I a coming from let’s define the word coward. Look it up on the Internet and you’ll find it succinctly put: One who shows ignoble fear in the face of danger. For me in short it’s someone that doesn’t have the backbone to face up to anything that can jeopardize what they have. Yeah, a coward is someone that isn’t willing to fight for what they have. Oh... they may be sly and calculating, but when exposed to face what challenges them do they face what threatens them? No. A coward is ignoble in that moment.

Sometimes we real men want to speak our mind to a coward. But how can you? They run. They hide. A coward is so less of a man.
Gee, can anyone out there tell me... how do you speak to a coward? Cowards never confront. They’ll even hide behind women while pretending to be big strong men.
I go to the gym. I don’t work out for muscle mass. I work out for endurance and legitimate strength. I like to keep my speed and durability, so I don’t pump up or bother with drugs to enhance my size. By contrast cowards take short cuts. Of course they don’t admit to it. That is one of the elements of being a coward. Sometimes I get a chance to do an athletic activity with the guys that carry more muscle mass. Honestly... And I hope they never read this... They can’t keep up. I think cowards are like that big muscular guy you run circles around. They play a part, but under the surface they are frauds. They can’t keep up with real men.
But just knowing what a coward is WHEN I SEE ONE, isn’t enough. Understanding why this person is a coward, doesn’t help. No. A coward won’t confront or stand up for them self. And worse yet, a coward is usually a bully. Think of all those men that have wives whom they pick on because their wife is the weaker sex. Imagine how these men (this stereo type exists) take advantage of someone that is weaker than them, only because they are a female. It makes you upset doesn’t it? It upsets me. We real men are not like that. A real man is gentle and caring. A real man doesn’t have to pretend to be something he is not.
But a coward, they always have a plan. They are slick that is for sure. They play a part, look a part. They lie... and mostly to them self of course. This way the people around them are more willing to fall for their BS. A coward can usually hide what he is at work. That is where they do their best at pretending not to be a coward. I get a personal laugh out of knowing everyone around them knows the truth while the coward goes on thinking their ruse is working. You could say the tables are turned on cowards.
Cowards are all about words. They talk a big game but don’t have any substance. After all, this is what makes a coward so easily identified. Then, when the coward comes across a real man that has substance to his life, ...you know history of being what he really is... the coward then turns and hides. They silently drift back into the shadow hoping not to be found.
It makes it so hard to talk to the coward when you can’t see them. But they are there. They actually listen from back in the darkness, so perhaps you can tell the coward what you want them to know by just calling out into the darkness...
Let me try it. I’ll make up a name... I’ll pick any name, a name any guy can have.... Mick. Yeah.... I’ll call out to Mick...
Nick? Are you listening out there? I just wanted to say hi. You know... as one real man to a coward. Nick... its time to pay the piper. Real men don’t hide. Real men have substance. Do you have substance Nick? Are you a real man Nick? Are you ready to face the truth Nick? Have you told... the truth about you? They say what comes around goes around. It is so good right now to be a real man. You should try it sometime. It may be hard for you, but it is easy for me. I’ve been a real man for many, many years.
Aaah.. what I silly idea calling out into the darkness eh? But oh well... if I were going to talk to a coward. That is how I’d do it. :)
