Here is why I think this. After reading this article in the post this morning: http://www.washingtonpost.com/wp-dyn/content/article/2005/08/09/AR2005080900352_pf.html Two of the jurors claim they knew Micheal Jackson was guilty but did nothing. Rather than stand up for what is right, (in this case for innocent children) they just went with the flow. To hell with justice.
If this was an isolated incident I'd shut-up and move on with life. But this is not the case. Remember the O.J. Simpson case? This is like a carbon copy of that situation. Back then it was blacks announcing after the case they knew O.J. did it but it was pay back to the white man. Heck, just last year Dave Chappell on his show stated he knew O.J. did it, and who doesn't? Don't even get me started on the race card. Why blacks can't give any white people a rest from racism is boggling my mind. I don't like all whites, I don't like all blacks. To me everyone is just people but when you get folks holding grudges just because you are white is really sad. I'll hold the door for you whether you are white or black but if something goes wrong in this world I'm white so I'm responsible for oppression. Back to my point...
If you live in California and take exception to this, consider you may be two of the ten folks that I consider normal and rational.
You wonder why folks think California is full of salad heads. I think California has a great open armed attitude towards new and cool ideas, but that environment harbors idiots to put it simply. You get folks that have stubborn alien viewpoints that they somehow know how to make it your fault you don't agree with them.
It reminds me of a woman that can do something basically wrong or horribly wrong to you then when you expect an apology from her she decides in a nano-second it would be easier to change the subject, attack you and make it your fault she did wrong by you. We'll that is how I see California much of the time too. Heck just look at movies come out of there now. All these horrible remakes being force fed to the movie public are approved by producers. They are people that obviously LIVE in California. Then you got photographers chasing stars around for unflattering photos. Who cares? Heck who cares that Micheal Jackson went to trial? At least don't put it under the microscope or as the major new networks call it, Wall-to-Wall.
You know I don't think political correctness came from soccor moms foisting their political morals on us. I know it came from California.
In short my message to Californian's is, get some backbone folks. Don't act like spoiled babies and realize that the rest of us think you are ding-dongs. For you two out of ten that don't have a problem. Lean on the the other eight and your state won't be percieved as such a bunch of idiots.
