Throughout my schooling as a child, I have found this to be so true. The meanest kids always had something in their background to hide--so they would showcase the quiet, smart, small, different, etc. child in an inferior, cruel light as a shield. Only in later life are those that were picked on vindicated. What a waste of chilhood time.
Also, as I read the quote, I realize my present life has yet another cruel person within it. I wonder now what all it is that he may have to hide. I also wonder why I am wasting my time. Thanks for the quote. It got me thinking. |
